YuMe does not collect Personal Information regarding Users through operation of the YuMe Platform, but does collect and use certain types of Anonymous Information.
Personal Information. "Personal Information," as used in this Policy, is information that specifically identifies an individual, such as an individual's name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address. Personal Information also includes information about an individual's Internet browsing activities as well as demographic information, such as: gender, geographic area, and preferences, when any of this information is combined with information that does specifically identify that individual. YuMe collects the following types of Anonymous Information:
Information on how many times a video or other content is requested by Users, what content is viewed, the dates and times of the requests, and whether an advertisement appearing in connection with the video or content is viewed, clicked on or otherwise interacted with by the User.
IP addresses in order to determine the approximate geographic location of Users so that we can serve advertisements that are more relevant to that location."
